Feeling 22: Black and White Birthday Outfit

I figured there's no time like the present to get the ball rolling on this blog and the present happens to be my birthday. Today I turned twenty two and spent a majority of the day watching a Harry Potter marathon on the TV. In my opinion, a day well spent.
Outfit Specs:
Chalk of the Town Dress- Now 50% off on Modcloth
Black Tights- HUE
Black Pumps- Deena and Ozzy (three years old)
Bracelets- Alex and Ani
Collar Pins- Modern Girl Blitz
Glasses- Rayban

My mom got me this dress for christmas and it's super comfortable, along with being very flattering to curves. I bought the collar pins from Midge of Modern Girl Blitz at the holiday BUST craftacular and I love them with an infallible passion. I'm not normally an Alex and Ani kind of girl but each of the charms are picked with love and meaning from my parents so each is a welcome addition to my arm.

Hope everyone had a day as great as mine! Enjoy the Harry Potter Marathons!

About Me

Hi!
I'm Mary Ethel. I'm an illustrator living in brooklyn. I recently graduated from Parsons the New School for Design and am working for BUST magazine as a crafty art intern. I have always loved crafting and style, and have come a long way but now I'm really settled in a modern DIY lifestyle. I make pillows and embroidered goods which I sell on etsy and love experimenting with needlework and different techniques.
I love style and am passionate about the way I present myself. I've gone through many different looks- from alternative teenager to violent goth to the retro 50s glam girl you see today. I have my feet in many different style pools, so you can expect to see lots of different influences in my looks on this blog. Here are some of my past looks:
